Re: Innuos Zen Mk3

Tnks for input... but that doesn't rip/store my CD collection..... ( "real estate" in l/room is confined and at present unwieldy...) And if I'm looking at correct units, price is €3k + Unless I'm missing something....??? i7 would be enough, i9 is overkill mainly only needed if you want to...

Re: Innuos Zen Mk3

Hopefully not derailing the thread since you are still waiting on the reply about the Innuos but I would recommend you check these out (https://www.smallgreencomputer.com/collections/audio-server). I use the i9 Optical with an optical Rendu and am really happy with them. Good price, good performance...

What mains blocks are you thinking of?

Hi - just a Puritan Audio Labs PS108 - 8 Way Distribution Strip. I don't want any filtering, at least not initially.

BTW - I quite like your creeper look, adds something unique/distinctive to the setup

Re: Plug question

You may also try here: https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/various-internationals-c-509.html As far as I can see the max. accepted cable diameter is 20mm here. If you open your original plug you can see if it is possible to "slim" a bit the cable and maybe customize it for a different plug. Be...

Re: Plug question

Yeah I'm not surprised you have to look abroad. Is there any particular skill needed in swapping them out once you get them? I can't imagine there is, but who's knows what secret sauce goes into these things. If they are anything like the US Oyaide then no but with the fuses etc the UK ones might n...

Plug question (Solved - Thanks)

I have a number of thick power cables that are terminated with US Oyadie plugs. I need to change these over to UK/Ireland plugs. I don't want to use a ton of adapters. There is no way a standard MK plug will take the cables. Does anyone have advise on what plugs I could use instead and where to get ...

Re: Room treatment

It was quite some time ago when I did this. I started with some general advise from GIK which I partially adopted. I had also found various online advise from Cardas and others. The room was 21 x 22 feet so almost square. I looked at the biggest issues flutter echo and bass boom. I started with the ...
