I still maintain the best you can get is going to be a linux os with optimised kernel that reads the data from ram without any user app interference, this will require the driver to be modified as well. .... that really is the best I can do without hacking drivers etc. next step would be linux with modified kernel and drivers, that's a long term goal. so now to make it functional. do we need a whip round to get you a haswell ? There's quite a step up in sound quality between normal and avx2. It's a bit like developing an F1 car, the technology get's passed down. Are you referring to maintain foobar as gui and use mqn as player?
Yes, indeed. If possible, I would prefer to use just foobar with MQN fully integrated.

Regarding SQ 3.70 is a step ahead, really. Is there a way, to use MQN as foobar´s sound engine? I can´t get it to work.
