Upgrading the speaker cable first is starting at the wrong end of the chain. I believe that mains cables from Russ Andrews or Audio Works will give significanly greater return for your money and will better show off the differences in speaker cables and interconnects when you do get round to changin...

Adrian, balanced power supplies are used fairly extensively in recording studios and hospitals. The intention is to reduce or eliminate any electrical noise that the single ended [live, neutral and earth] mains supply has on it. Hello, Does anyone here use a balanced power supply for their system or perhaps a source component. (Balanced is 230 volt in and 110-0-110 out with the centre tap earthed). Hello guys, I am looking for one of these as we now have five remotes - a crazy situation just to watch something on TV. How on earth do you "tell" the new remote the commands for one of the existing remotes (e.g. the SKY HD remote)?
