Re: MQN
Hello Gordon Did you make any new discovery or progress? Thank you been looking at asio, what are people's thoughts on the sq of asio ? I always find ASIO has a more muffled, deadened sound than KS. KS is more open sounding, has better clarity and ASIO is more 'warm' and muffled, less detailed. I h...

Re: MQN
I've been using Bughead(Infinity Blade) for the past 2 weeks with Chord Asio driver and I'm finding it excellent in contrast to Aleg's experiences. I listen to a lot of 24bit and DSF material(as well as 16bit) playing on Jplay 6 using KS. I still think the bass is less flabby on BHE than Jplay . I ...

Re: Interesting new PC
I think it's interesting too, but I get the sense that this isn't the kind of thing most of the people on this forum are targeting. When I first saw this I was sorry I'd just bought a NUC for Kodi use! The new NUC's are pretty cool, wireless and Bluetooth is now on the motherboard. HD5500/6000 grap...

Re: Interesting new PC
I thought there would be interest on this forum, as users are always on the lookout for low powered (low noise) music players.. Who wants to power their PC's using car batteries! ;) The Intel compute has x86 architecture (64 bit) and runs WIN 8.1/10 (+Linux 14.04) on a platform that powers off 5vdc ...

Re: Interesting new PC
Surely I cant be the only PC audio user that thinks this solution is interesting. 1.Windows or Linux.... 2.Quad core atom with "enough cpu power" for music playback.... 3.Easy to power via linear 5vdc 2amp. 4.USB 2.0 for USB connection to your favourite DAC or Spdif converter. 5.Built in w...

Re: Bug Head Technology Music Player
Don't forget to try rewrite... a small piece of software written by Bughead author Mr. Hiroyuki Yokota.... Re: MQN
with mqnparam.txt it is easy, you would just need the number of the device which is 0, 1, 2 etc. Please don't mix that with the device name used for the actual test versions. In case I am happy to give you the details to get the W7 version working, just let me know. Thank you Octagon that's all I n...
