Re: Brexit

Taken my first steps. Ordered some tool parts from Milan Italy. The price is lower than the UK best price (assuming they were still in the EU).
Fran is 100% it will be a bit more effort and maybe longer delivery times but will have to be done.

Re: [WTB] Ciúnas ISO-HUB

Interested in getting one of these of my Auralic Aries in order to let it play from external USB HDD and also play CDs via USB. If there is one out there surplus to requirements, there is a willing buyer here. .sjb That might do the job for you John if you can risk importing it. https://pinkfishmed...

Re: Brexit

There seems to be a bit of viciousness in the implementation of the Brexit laws .. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-55622331 James No harm no reason to give anybody an easy ride considering the hassle they are putting us all through just to satisfy some imagined utopia that does not exist. The...

Re: Interest check

Certainly nice price for destination speakers. I would have been checking them out if I hadn't bought speakers before Xmas. I think you will be selling them soon:) Not too many Elipsa's floating around the Irish secondhand market.

Re: Brexit

Hope it is not as bleak as you are painting it Adrian. It wouldn't surprise me though. nearly one year in to the pandemic and we somehow have managed to ignore people coming in to our airports. Tons of empty hotels around the airport and no effort made to put an isolation regime in place or testing ...

On another note does anyone know if all EU online purchases are covered by a 30 return period?
That may be the way for me to home trial D&D 8c.

Re: Hifi plans for 2021?

You've caused a run on those, Tony, product is no longer available now. Assume there's a glut of them winging their way to the real high end audiophiles in the Far East as we speak. You're such an influencer. Ivor, like you I'm thinking that the only really effective upgrade I can make now is a new...

Re: Interest check

I suspect I am the previous owner of those speakers! 😉 I found the more current I could give them the better they got, and they want good clean power. The combo with valves was too much of a good thing for my ears, so Naim might work quite well, although I've never tried them myself. Usual story, y...
