Re: What music are you listening to currently?
One of the things I love about streaming is finding stuff you'd never come across otherwise. Qobuz suggested this new release to me this morning and, in a sure sign that the algo has got me nailed, I unironically love it. 80s-style synthy cheese that skirts so close to parody it's both ridiculous an...

Dutch & Dutch 8c
There was some talk of these back in the day, but has anyone here ever heard them? I've been down a rabbit hole reading about them recently and I've got myself in all of a tizzy now, and really need some direct experience.
Anyone?

Re: What are you listening two?
The Kondrashin box set has been on my 'must get' list of recordings for more than a decade now. Re: What are you listening two?
Thanks for reminding me, Sean. I still think the Tallis Scholars might shade it for me, but it's a close run thing. Listening now. Incidentally, track 7 on that album "When David Heard" is another of my absolute favourites. I Heard Vox Luminis perform it at the NCH a good few years back an...

Re: What music are you listening to currently?
I always rated "Joshua Judges Ruth" highly. Some of they very best musicians around are on that album. I'm now off to dig it out for a listen. My wife always jokes that whenever she hears "North Dakota" playing she knows I'm testing out new gear. After all this time, she listene...

Re: A few bits and bobs for sale
Great to see Briano again this evening, although I must register my disapproval that he looks the exact same while I... do not. Briano you'll be delighted to hear that the speakers made it back to Dun Laoghaire in one piece, and they're sounding gorgeous already. Thank you, and best of luck with eve...

Wow! I knew there was "something" to do with the LP12 but I never knew exactly what. That certainly lays it all out.

I'll take the Audioplans, Briano, I am forming a plan about how to use them as we speak. Mulling over the IS too, I'll come back to you on that one.
