i suspected that in previous versions bypass function NtDeviceIoControlFile with parameters, so can raise bug as in your case.
try test bug, maybe has been fixed.

already update OS Build 16299.98 in MS page, improvements and fixes may things. i think we will update soon?

retested, seems buffer256 more warm, more musical emotion. will learn the parameters for function NtDeviceIoControlFile and test more..

yes, updated to 1709 build 16299.19 , sound not correct, seems empty and emotion lesser. updated again to next build 16299.64 (current build of win10 now), better, more stable. but now my headphones Sennheiser MX400 don't work , i use MX170 but bass is false, MX581 sound not true. difficult to test ...

in my case: after running MediaCreationTool.exe 30min downloading progress 0% , even can't close it, hehe... but my friend downloaded and reinstall.
