Your signature :) When jb sees that your system makes life BRIGHTER (especially now you're using the Goldring) he'll get the wrong idea! Read his tt thread and you'll get the general idea...Don't worry I'm only joking!!!

Ahahah just read his post.

I Had the Grado Prestige Green and liked quite a lot. I'd say it's a really good value for the money.

But since I have the Goldring 1042, I really love this cartridge, specially in terms of bass! Of course we're not in the same price range anymore but IMO I wouldn't go back to my Grado. :-)

Glad someone here likes the Goldring :) I used to own another Goldring derivative, the Corus Black which was even better (superior bass and better definition) but the stylus replacements became just too expensive at the time and I got the Goldring 1042 instead. I've never looked back but I've often wondered what a Goldring stylus would sound like in a Corus body (which I still have). Of course, I'd have to do something with the different shaped spigot on the stylus body. Easily remedied :) Don't worry I'm NOT going there!
