Decca gets back into vinyl

Post by fergus »

With the help of our friends at Abbey Road Studios, we have been looking deep into the vaults of the archive for the original analogue tapes of some of our most iconic and critically acclaimed albums from the golden era of LP, direct from analogue tape. As an avid collector of vinyl myself it is a wonderful privilege to see these magnificent recordings back out there in their original format, only this time we are pressing on deluxe heavyweight vinyl! Keep an eye out here for posts and please keep voting and giving your feedback!"

Yes, I thought that it was an interesting development Seán given current Classical Music sales and playback technology moving inevitably down the streaming road. I should think that it was a very limited market but they must have done their research before launching.
