Music for a 71st Birthday Party

Post by Sloop John B »

The Sloops are having a bash,

I'm 50 and Ms Sloop is 21, a joint 71st party.

I want to give the DJ a list of music to play. I'm told all the songs have to be danceable, slow sets are so passé.

I'm going to try and have 50% of the playlist.

If you could chip in with 10 sure fire dance-floor classics I'd appreciate it as I'm hitting a bit of a blank after a brisk start.

Sorry, bit drunk when I posted that other suggestion. Love Shack is a great one, and I also love Groove is in the Heart by Dee Lite as a floor filler.

Thanks guys, some good ones I'd overlooked and quite a few in common.

Now to try and get the DJ to play them (I even replaced "Panic" with "This Charming Man" not to cause offence!)
