I listened a bit to 260/103/48, 261/104/49 and 262/105/50
260: Less detail,
261: More detail, like it better,
but
262: Best detail, transparency and beauty of tone. This is really good.

Thank you again, Gordon

Yes, agree about 262. Think I'm getting enough of the violinist breathing and scratches of the bow etc, don't need any more detail.
Did you use rewrite ?

Stellar feedback continues for the F-1 on headfi, a really interesting beast. Shall postpone any further MQn development until I hear if it's player agnostic.

MQn would still be useful for portable high quality music using laptop, usb dac and headphones.

Yes, 2x rewrite on mqnrewrite.exe and all .exe files in Mqnrewrite an Musicplayer- folders. Also 2x rewrite on music files used for listening. When comparing versions, a new rewrite for each version.

Rewrite means a lot, the music is more present.

Cheers

my ears have gone funny, so can't reliably comment. At the time of development it sounded ok, now it might be on the bright side.

Initial view of the Singxer F-1 xmos xu208, phenomenal and it will only get better. Wow, a new era indeed.

Just did a comparison between playpcmwin wasapi player and mqn and there is still a difference, so not player agnostic yet.

So, can you still hear the differences between different players?

Just did a comparison between playpcmwin wasapi player (which I think is pretty aggressive sounding) and mqn and there is still a difference, so not player agnostic yet.

But what a sound, best I've heard, turn your £400 dac into a £10000 dac.

Buy this or wait for the super Regen or JK secret squirrel project.

What will it the sq be like in 5 years time ? Interesting times.
