Wanted, cassette tape player

Post by Rocker »

If anyone has a half width or small sized cassette tape deck 'in storage' and you are willing to move it on, I need one for our kitchen music setup. My wife listens to a lot of Audio Books on tape. Our present player is on it's last legs and is well beyond it's sell by date and probably beyond repair. It is full size and takes up a lot of worktop space so a smaller unit would solve a number of problems in one go. Thanks in advance.

Edit 1: Sorry but I forgot to say I am not expecting a freebie unit (I will accept one if offered!), I will pay a fair price for a working player.

Edit 2: I will be happy to buy a standard sized cassette tape player as it appears that there are no small sized ones available.
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.

Beware of a thin chef!

I can't help you with a cassette deck. But while the old one is still working maybe copy the tapes to CD?

Or a hard drive. Lots of audio books can be downloaded (legally) these days and many libraries offer a audio book service via a pc or laptop.
Vinyl -anything else is data storage.

There's a few on adverts.ie from a guy in Wexford. Nothing to do with me and no idea if they're what you're after but they might be?
