This is a strange one because it’s in MONO. Klaus was commissioned to do the soundtrack but instead the producers cleverly decided to use excerpts from existing tracks which worked brilliantly. I was fooled too.
Sadly missed though his vast repertoire will always echo and re-echo throughout eternity reminding us that he will never be forgotten.

This vinyl dbl. beauty arrived earlier. 25th (or thereabouts) notch on the ancient pole. What a breath of fresh air. What a guy too. On Fire Records.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss: Raising Sand

Undoubtedly attractive, melodious and well presented music but just not to my taste.

All his albums are brilliant both the diy and group approach. No Shane I won’t be queuing up for the Live at the Great American Music Hall dbl. I hope lol! Seriously I’m fast approaching the 50 mark on his releases so I’m pretty happy with my collection. Another reason I actually have the long track at the end Signed DC on an impossibly rare outtakes dbl. I picked up from a US online store. A picture disc which looks really cool. Also on The Long Stuff that I got recently there’s another humongous 25 minute plus Live track on Side 4 where he solos on an electric sitar. So I’m happy out for now 😊

I’ll see if I can locate that US thing and post it next. Both sides hopefully.

This one dropped earlier. It’ll complement nicely the other version I have from way back. Dbl. Lp on Bureau B.

Can confound me. Some stuff I love and some leaves me wondering whether they're taking the proverbial!
