Fair enough but they're not mutually exclusive. Willie has had such a huge output that he's spanned the other stuff too. He's simply a great songwriter and I loive his phrasing. I know he's often cheesy but he does it with such style.

I never 'got' RE Keen though. He leaves me cold.

the Hot Club of Cowtown's tribute to the songs of Bob Willis & The Texas Playboys. Marvellous Texas swing but sadly with a fairly nasty veiled production.

Can't beleive that I've been a John Hiatt fan for 20 years.
He duetted with Elvis Costello back than and that brought him to my attention.
He's recorded with some super artists as well as being covered by some greats.
Missed his show at the Academy on Tuesday. Any one go ?
