A lovely bit of alt country/Irishcana there. I'm impressed :)
Yep, nice album alright Dermot. Worth checking out their first album too, good songwriter. Vinyl not available until late December unfortunately:-(

Stage Struck, believe it or not, was another album I passed on because I instinctively felt it wasn't up to much.
@Cybot and Tweber - I had another listen to Stage Struck because it seems to divide opinion more so than Rory's other albums, perhaps as its very different to his other quirkier live albums. TBH I think its a bit mixed but there are still some nice renditions! :)

A whacky late-1960s hard rock version of House of the Rising Sun, which still works surprisingly well!

Now there goes a man with a modicum of taste :) Brilliant! I must dig out my ancient 7" and relive that 'scene' :)

Thanks for that Rob. Will have a good listen later.

Yeah Rob, definitely a "rockier" sound on it when compared to his other live lps. As you pointed out, some nice versions of classic Rory tunes on it. Follow Me=MT USA always for me :-)

Cool - check the tracks out! I am without a decent record player I'm afraid so feel it might be best to stick with getting the Isle of Wight CD - did you hear the remastered CD as well or was that the DVD of the "What’s Going On" version?
BTW, the other old live album from Taste was 'Live Taste' - IMHO it's a little disappointing - fairly good overall but short on tracks (five) and not outstanding except for Gallagher's solo rendition of Gambler Blues. Its dated as a 1970 performance but thought it was earlier as it only has tracks from the debut.

Hi Tweber - yeah Follow Me has to be one of his standout tracks. Shame about the echoey sound on Stage Struck - I think they added some post-production fizz to give some of the songs the feel of being in a stadium - should be remixed without!

Thanks Rob. I'd say yours is not half bad either :)
