Doves....One of my favourite bands ever, hoping this is as good as reviews are saying.
Saw them many years ago in Carlow! The Factory was the venue I think, bought an engagement ring the following day in Kilkenny :-)
....and you're still as happy as that day. A little older and uglier but happy 😊

Do I ascertain (been wanting to use that word for ages) that you like guitar music? Maybe Peter Green?

BTW how's the, ahem, vinyl replay coming along? Have you taken a hammer to the cartridge yet or, God forbid, the poor turntable? We're here if you need a lump hammer πŸ€—

Haven't really been listening, to be honest. That's probably not a good sign...

Ah no, don't say that! But.....I do know that feeling well. We all do! Start again when you're ready and this time ditch that cartridge. Between now and then start reading up on suitable candidates as there's quite a few affordable gems (pun intended) out there. Good luck....

I have to say, that a top class cartridge (moving coil - high or low output) plays a huge part in vinyl reproduction! I could never see myself going back to moving magnet cartridge ever! Just my thoughts anyway!
