In case anybody missed this, Irmin Schmidt released a new live album yesterday entitled Nocturne: Live at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. Vinyl editions are limited to 1000. Here’s a trailer:

Had forgotten how beautiful a packaging this classic is by Goodspeed You Black Emperor! Complete with Canadian penny flattened by a train... Interesting to read Danny Boyle had this as his inner soundtrack when filming 28 Days Later... Maybe not a coincident it got hauled out just now...

Nice one Claus! Here's my own original vinyl with NME headline thrown in for good measure. Spot the difference :) Still their best album and best 8.99 I ever spent.

The DMST album below is one of two of their albums I have. The other one being Winter Hymns. Best title ever though ;)
