Oh I really like Mozart's Piano Concertos Seán. I have one of them performed by Haskil and I have heard others. I do agree with you in terms of her performances and interpretations and the lack of pristine sound quality when it is fully compensated for by the other two quatities has never bothered me. But to be very honest I simply find it difficult to get past Perahia in these works from the very first moment that I bought the set; he simply says everything to me in these concertos.Seán wrote:

Lithurgically, Christmas starts today as it is the first day of Advent. So I am officially opening my Christmas Season musically with two of the three requiste JS Bach cantatas for the day that is in it, BWV 61 & BWV 62 under the directorship of Harnoncourt from Vol. 16 of the pioneering cycle that both he and Leonhardt produced way back when....
