Post by Fran »

Ok, so this one is probably loooong overdue, but please post your useful and interesting links in this thread.

Please lets keep it relatively clear of clutter, so to make it easy to find stuff later could we stick to the following format:
Link:

Brief explanation:

And unless they're different places within the same site, lets keep it to one post per link.

Link: http://www.quadesl.org/

Link : http://www.neilmcbride.co.uk/

Explanation : A fairly dated site with details of how to modify naim amps [everything before the nac-52 / nac-82 -- it IS quite old] which gives a good idea of the naim design philosophy .. e.g. which pre-amps use two voltage rails; which power amps have regulated power supplies.

[The various edits are because I could not get the www.... to work. Explanation ... leave a gap after "Link:" and instead of "Link:www..." put "Link: www....].

Explanation: Probably well known to members but worth a mention, great resource for anyone interest in building or modifying their own kit

Link http://www.decdun.me.uk/

A good site for projects and clear explanation of function of components, power supplies etc..
The whole place is a complete mess. Can't find anything. Right now I'm eating scrambled eggs, with a comb, from a shoe!
