Graphics Cards and where to get them

Post by Cyndale »

The fan in my graphics card stopped. I took it off and cleaned it as best I could. I reinstalled it, but I have to give it a few flicks before it will turn, it will then stay on. From what I have read they should only kick in when the temperature gets too high.

I have checked online... Harvey Norman, Currys/PC World, RS Components, MemoryC, but I can't find one around the €50-€75 range at all. Nobody seems to have any in stock. MemoryC has loads of graphics cards listed but very few in stock, would have to order and wait for it to arrive.

Can anybody recommend some place?

Last one I bought was on Amazon, but that was before Xmas, before brexit.

Germany is where I'd be looking - computeruniverse.com or try using this scraper https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/

Got sorted with a click and collect in Celbridge... MemoryC. Fitted and works like a dream!
