Sonus Faber Sonetto II speakers for sale...

Post by Ivor »

These were bought late last year as “interim” speakers…, by that I mean while I had my trusty ol’ Harbeths up for sale I rneeded something else – plus a chance to experiment a bit. As the Harbeths were physically too big (I think) for the room width – I went for something a bit narrower and even tapered. A gorgeous pair of Sonus Faber Sonetto II with their stands in walnut veneer came into view… I was surprised at the detail and sound stage... Treble is sweet and bass is good if not subterranean. A bit of adjustment on wall/corner position I’m sure would accentuate the lower frequencies… frankly I don’t think these are fully broken in yet!
They are as new – all boxes included.

I will probably put these up on Adverts over the weekend. They retail at €2200 for speakers and stands but I’m asking €1700 including stands, spikes and all the necessary bolts! There’s even free sand in the stand’s columns…
