I don´t know the soprano, but Patricia Bardon is well known in Baroque music and Rossini, she recorded Handel´s Orlando with Les Arts Florissants, but then, maybe, Mahler is not her thing.

Sabadus sings superbly, with flawless taste, the arias are very well chosen for a recital, and Nuovo Aspetto plays splendidly. Super enjoyable.

This is depressing. One of the greatest singers of the day caught in such poor sound that you might think that she was not at all at Wigmore Hall but in a flat 2 blocks away.

Anima Eterna and Jos van Imerseel are playing here in 2 weeks. An all Schubert concert on the fortepiano and next day Beethoven´s 5th and 6th. They are also doing all Beethoven symphonies in Guanajuato. I have yet to warm to what I have heard of van Immerseel's Beethoven cycle, perhaps I should get...
