Re: Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
Found Seeteeyou's post linking to Taobao SD players & they look pretty much like what I was talking about - first one uses bluetooth (small bluetooth board) to connect with remote & second one uses WiFi (small WiFi board) Remote looks pretty awful. I wonder did the developer consider the nex...

Re: Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
Hi John, No, I never got to the bottom of why that happened - it wasn't like I shorted something or an obvious muck up. If your card i snow inoperable, care to donate it for testing - maybe can test what's going on electrically with button press? I don't know about the loading into memory bit - the...

Re: Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
Actually, now that I'm thinking my way back into this, AmplitudJS is NOT really suitable as what we want from this control program is an ability to scroll through our library of audio files on disk, network or wherever & select one (or more) for playing which then will send this/these files to t...

Re: Computer Audio Blasphemy, nige tries Another SD Card Player
New year, new energy (yea, right) to look into this again :) First of all, I want to check a couple of things & give my thoughts before I put too much time into what might ultimately turn out to be a waste of time. Again, I'm thinking of a better UI than the screen & buttons currently used o...

Re: chipamp lifepo4 powered monoblocks
Perhaps I should have made it clear that I meant rotat the batteries so that each one was close to the load of the chip for limited amount of time before it was put at the other end. Of ourse this would mean numbering the batteries so as to not get mixed up. It would also mean not soldering the bat...

Re: Tour of Supercapacitor PSes
PPang has a 4pin molex but I can hook up something temp sure that's what I like doing anyway! The mobo is 24pin and 4 pin but I don't think your supply will do 3.3v or maybe it can be regulated down to that? I am curious to see if I could power the pc with them. At the moment I am back to using the...

Re: Tour of Supercapacitor PSes
OK, Tony
5V PS
I'm away next week but what power connector does the PPang require?
Same question about mobo - what power connector does it require - typical Molex one with 12V & 5V or what?
