Are the strobes just a dj thing for regulating pitch now? I remember my dad's old home hifi tt had the strobe and pitch control. Hi Max. More or less. No worries Max. We`re all snobs here! Regas always run slightly fast - since day one. Depending on the material this can be good or bad. An external power supply is key to speed stability in my experience - no matter which turntable really, for the most part. Rega do their own but its about the same...

A friend who knocks a new Rega for €200 doesn`t really know anything about turntables if you ask me!!! Ha :-) (The arm alone is worth €200 all day long...imo). If you`re Dublin based and need help getting it up and running give me a shout.
