I unearthed this gem at the weekend from my "backroom collection".
1966 vintage I believe.
Giving it a spin tonight. See what memories come flooding back.
Wouldn't get that from a download !

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Wow, I did not think that they were still playing, let alone occasionally playing together. I wonder what the sound is like today?Ivor wrote:They're playing gigs around the country at the moment http://www.advertiser.ie/galway/article ... e77a59%2C0fergus wrote:

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Leo O'Kelly regularly plays a pub on Dun Laoghaire's main street. I was dragged along one night by mates (who are fans) a while back. I'm afraid I'm not a fan myself so couldn't comment objectively on the the current sound but others enjoyed it despite my heckling.fergus wrote:Wow, I did not think that they were still playing, let alone occasionally playing together. He's playing the Kingston Hotel in Dun Laoghaire on May 28th. Not too far away from you Fergus!fergus wrote:Wow, I did not think that they were still playing, let alone occasionally playing together. Thanks for that guys. Leo O'Kelly's music was where my main interest was in that duo.
