Hi Ivor,

Did you get sorted with your Repeater project? If not I might be able to help as I have set up a repeater to boost my wireless signal from an old Linksys router that I had knocking around.

This link from Lifehacker set me up - it is pretty straightforward and has easy to follow instructions:
