i found the sound of the bw802 setup less than inspirational,
uninvolving or sterile, lacked micro detail especially reverb and decay or much finesse.
Listened once to similar setup however with single Devialet and lesser models of BW but with exactly same conclusion. Completely not my type of sound.

As to wider speaker setup, always wanted to try it in my room but I have too short speakers cables :D

haven't got round to trying the 30 degree listening position yet at home myself
but you can do it at yours by bringing your listening position forward if you can bear moving your speakers a little :)

not sure if it was the bws or the devialet i didn't take too,
seemed to "try hard", and it shouldn't be that way, it should be able to just flow
it would be very tiring to listen to
left and right channels were reversed, i had mentioned it to no effect, not that it would change my opinion of the system if it was rectified
played "you look good to me" twice on it just to be sure
and i felt no urge to play anything else on it
you know when you're listening to something special and it just wasn't one of those times

Not bad at all :) bass increased and became more precise. I'm still really impressed by the Medium and highs. I'd say I've used them for 100h maybe and still have 400h to go to finalise the beak in period.

The most surprising is that I'm really rediscovering my albums. I can hear really bad recordings in some that I used to like and vice&versa
