A thought (I know better be careful with those!)


Is there anything that people would like to see in particular? e.g. we already have the horns and the computer audio thing more or less set up to go, with a variety of valve or solid state amps. Vinyl playback via 2 different TTs, one with a conventional arm, the other with an unconventional air bearing arm. While I don't think its maybe a great idea to have too many different items, is there anything else out there that people would like to see?

Maybe I can organise to work it into the meet up?

Hi Fran I assume its thd Jkdac that you have for the computer audio? I would really like a look at that. I have been following the thread and to be honest it seems very fiddly to get set up but you are all very positive about the sound.

I might just take a Sunday off and meet people outside of Dublin 6. Might.

Tony - yes the jkDACs (of which there are 2 types). The set up is easy enough, and easy to use, so we will have that on the day and anyone will be able to have a go and use it.

Ivor - just might let you make some coffee!

I will bring my laptop and JKDAC if needed, anything else let me know.

I can bring the coffee beans for Ivor, just got a delivery this week!!

I'll be getting the Matthews coach into Parnell St....so is there a nice person out there who could give me a lift out to Fran's place (and back!). I solemnly promise I'll leave the weird stuff at home including Jimi :-) Oh, I forgot to say thanks for the invite Fran....

I'd normally be able to give lifts but as I won't know for sure either way until probably the Saturday I can't commit.
