Not rock, but not jazz or electronic either. But if you like Tom Waits, this guy is like a more local version.
Great lyrics and a hell of a rough voice - you'll laugh, you'll cry, it's got it all.

On glorious vinyl...Dave from the sadly departed Road Records loved this band and once gave me a couple of grainy b/w images of the band at a gig somewhere in Dublin. Probably Whelan's....

DaveF - I really like it. I think it will go down as one of the best he has released. The voice is completely shot but then it was never about the voice!
