Mahler in NCH

Anybody going to Mahler Resurrection in NCH tomorrow 16th Oct?

To my shame I haven't been to the NCH & before booking my tickets want to get advice on where the best seats are?
Also, is this a worthwhile version of the Resurrection to go to?
It's great that there are still tickets & they are reasonably priced - beats Neil Young concert in the RDS - shite & overpriced!

Any suggestions?

BTW, I'm tempted by Yo La Tengo tonight in NCH too :) Anyone going?

You cannot go too far wrong with anywhere in the center stalls John, I have found the acoustics there to be excellent at any of the concerts I attended.

I have not gone to a full classical night yet with the nearest so far being a night at Nigel Kennedy and his Polish Troupe, one of these days I must try a classical night!
I will be there next month for Keith Jarrett and that will be it for this year.

It is a nice venue so I expect you will have a great night.

Hi John, I have just come across your post, sorry. I was at the NCH and enjoyed it immensely. I hope you did too.
