Cables required ...

Post by Gerry D »

Hi All.
I have a cable shortage.

Does anybody have any worthwhile cables for sale ?
Looking for 5 metre pair of speaker cable to replace Nordost Super Flatline - it details nicely which is great but I'm always looking for more scale to sound.
BTW that set of wires is for sale - Offers ????

Looking for interconnects for cassette deck - same sound requirements - .5 or 1 metre OK.

Using Synthesis Shine valve integrated and SA 1530 speakers, Arcam CD 37, Nakamichi CR2E cassette machine.

Could buy new but think there might be better value out there ?

Thanks,
Gerry

Gerry, are the Nordost's a bi-wire type and what termications are there? I might be interested, but would only be able to offer a small sum.

Hi.
Its just like the pic attached. I also attached a snapshot of online price for new set from Audio Affair in UK for reference.

http://www.audioaffair.co.uk/index.php? ... ductId=473

Mine are about 10 years old and certainly don't look new.
But I reckon they are doing what they should do perfectly.

I do have the original packing.

I'm after as much as I can get as I've got to replace them. Say €225.00 ?

Let me know.
I'm away from a.m. Friday 'til Monday night - no WWW access.

Happy Easter to All.

Gerry

Hey All.
I am also looking for a pretty good cartridge - MM or MC - for the TT and tonearm set up I'm building.

Maybe somebody has surplus that they would be interested in selling ?

Not too fussy, not too much €'s for this now. Just want something respectable to get this machine up and running, tweaked and bedded in.
Then I'll explore Cartridge World in earnest.

Cheers,
Gerry

Gerry, I'll give these a miss, they are well outside my price range at the mo.

Not to worry.
If I get sorted with a replacement and I don't need so much €'s for them I will give you a shout.
