I was in Cloney's yesterday buying a Rega drive belt. When I was paying there were about 15 or 20 loose cartridges beside the till. Ivan explained to me that they were all retuns, cantilevers damaged or broken by new buyers who didn't realise how fragile they are and dragged across albums or otherwise abused them.
