While I applaud the effort to make something that looks different (and performs well of course) these are not to my taste at least. The prices are gasp level alright.

I read the review on the current Stereophile. It is, with due respect to the designers, horribly ugly! Parting with 300k for this would be out of the question for a number of reasons, not least its appearance. Michael Fremer actually admitted to liking the design, but I guess he has to be diplomatic?
