Hi.
I am selling one of my racks. Won't have room for it soon.
One of the attached pics has all the dimensions.
It is professionally made in a sustainable hardwood.
Comprises:
1 Base plate tier with adjustable feet for levelling.
3 Four legged tiers - each leg has an Oelbach brass isolation cone [black]- each top has an Oelbach receiving cup [black] inset for the cones.
Each leg is constructed of 3 pieces - 2 hardwood columns and an integral solid acrylic pillar segment which is 'rooted' into the timber parts.
The whole thing is finished with an Eco friendly wood oil.
Given that it looks relatively light for a solid wood structure it is actually very solid.
I am looking for €265.00 for the 4 pieces.
Thanks,
Gerry

Nice rack...and phono stage [:)]
Re: Rack for sale
Hey Richard.
Guessed that you'd spot that.
I have to say that I am really enjoying it.
Knitted in sonically from word go and we've hardly given it a rest since Sunday.
I fear my son won't be getting his hands on it too soon.
I had that rack built to my specs a few months ago. It looks similar to the HiFi Racks/Podium stuff with addition of the acrylic spacers and thick sorbo thane pads on the feet.
So there's good isolation from the floor and some break up of transfer between each tier.
It certainly improves on an old coffee table I used before it.
I'll put whatever I get for it against the set up of my forthcoming new listening room.

Re: Rack for sale - SOLD
Hi Gerry - out of interest, where did you pick the rack up?
Re: Rack for sale - SOLD
Hi Dubber.
We made it here in my workshops.
I could make more but not for that € on small quantities. Don't know if there's much of a market for them.
I could make another one off for €450.
If it's of interest to you, I have a couple of other units up for grabs. They're not specifically for Hi Fi but they are rock solid and very home friendly. Nice furniture and very well made.
If you'd like I can send you some photos and dimensions later ?
Cheers,
Gerry

Re: Rack for sale - SOLD
Please do Gerry. BTW, do you know any good plywood suppliers? Lavardin were extolling its virtues at the Cloney show!
