Just got the new sky 2tb HD box that I am connecting to my processor.
Whats the best way to do this?
There is something in the back of my head that the best way to connect a sky hd box is for video => HDMI and sepperately for Audio => optical cable.
Something to do with the sky box not being able to send the 5.1 sound through hdmi.
Is this correct?
Best way to connect SkyHDBox to processor
Re: Best way to connect SkyHDBox to processor
I believe so. Stereo only via HDMI on the Sky Box, so optical for 5.1.
While we're here, how do you find the 2tB box? After the recent EPG upgrade my old Pace box has got very laggy, plus we're always running out of space.

Very good, lots of space, and its smaller than the previous sky boxes.
I also got it because you can apparently go back a week in case you missed a program.
haven't figured out how/if this works.

Good stuff. Might give Sky a call in the New Year and see what they offer.
