That's more like it :-) I clearly remember picking up a second hand copy from Freebird aeons ago.Would believe it was actually a double! It combined the album you're listening to with English Rose. I was gobsmacked as I was only familiar with the Greatest Hits collection along with many others, I'm sure.... My love affair with the great Peter Green started right there.....fergus wrote:

Spotted this back on the vinyl shelves yesterday. If you haven't got it, you know what to do.....

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
Spent the afternoon really enjoying this (again!) and not a tipple in sight! It's an Alan Douglas jobbie and nothing to do with the Hendrix estate but at least they have found the heart to finally release it. Hear My Train A' Comin' bookends the album with the marvellous 12 string acoustic version (tossed off in a photo studio!) sounding absolutely amazing. This is then followed by a stunning, and I mean stunning, Born Under A Bad Sign instrumental.....Wow!?!!
After all that, the 12 minute plus live electric version of HMTAC from the island of Maui (Rainbow Bridge) still stuns. Some people say it's his finest performance.....

Good man Fergus :-) I've always wondered why they didn't make it a double; still, I cannot imagine it being a double, can you? I Could Have Had Religion still hits the spot.....
Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
